MindHalo (“we”, “our”, or “the App”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

1. Information We Collect

Email Address: Used to create and manage your account.
Password: Passwords are hashed locally using SHA‑256 before being sent to our backend servers and authenticated via Firebase. No plaintext passwords are transmitted or stored.
Device ID: Used solely to link your account to your device for premium access and security purposes.
In-App Progress Data: Includes coins, achievements, and other study-related progress.

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account and user profile.
To verify license keys and premium access.
To sync and save your study progress, coins, and achievements.
To improve and personalize the app experience.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. Your data is only stored securely on our servers for app functionality.

4. Your Rights & Account Deletion

Account Deletion: You have the right to delete your MindHalo account and all associated data at any time. You can do this directly from within the MindHalo app:

Go to Settings > Delete Account in the app.
Confirm your password to permanently delete your account and all related data from our servers.

Account deletion is processed securely via our API and is irreversible. All your personal data, coins, achievements, and license bindings will be permanently removed from our systems.

If you are unable to access the app, you may also request account deletion by contacting us at mindhalo@techfixpro.net with your registered email address.

5. Security

All personal data transmitted to our servers is sent securely using HTTPS. We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet or storage system is 100% secure.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. All updates will be posted on this page with the updated effective date.
